Establish and improve ratings (e.g., EcoVadis, ESG ratings)
Partnering for success
& creating Value together.
Sustainability requirements from customers, banks, and business partners are noticeably increasing – such as in tenders, supplier evaluations, ESG questionnaires, financing processes, or platforms like EcoVadis. To address this, companies must provide reliable information, key performance indicators, and evidence on topics such as the environment, climate protection, labor and human rights, ethics, governance, and sustainable procurement.

In many cases, this information is gathered and reported anew for each inquiry.
We help you systematically document these requirements, categorize existing sustainability activities, and develop missing documents, data, or processes in a targeted manner. This enables you to establish a consistent and credible foundation for reliably and efficiently meeting customer, bank, and ESG requirements.
Our Approach
1. Assessment
1. Assessment
We start with a structured inventory of your existing sustainability documents, processes, key figures, and responsibilities. In doing so, we check which guidelines, measures, data points, and evidence are already available and which requirements from customers, banks, investors or rating platforms can already be covered by them.
In the first step, we get an overview: How do you manage all sustainability aspects? Where does your organization stand in the areas of environment, economy, and social affairs? Which topics are already being addressed – and where are there blind spots? To do this, we record the current status along the ZNU fields of action, identify existing structures, processes, and data, and recognize what is missing for a potential certification.
Result: A structured analysis of the highlights and lowlights of your sustainability activities.
Typical duration: Several rounds of coordination, usually over the course of 1–2 weeks.
2. Requirements and Gap Analysis
2. Requirements and Gap Analysis
Based on your relevant customer, financing, or platform requirements, we analyze which data you need to maintain for external inquiries. These include, among others, environmental and climate protection, working conditions, human rights, business ethics, compliance, sustainable procurement, supply chain management, and governance structures. We identify existing strengths, gaps, and priority areas for action.

To this end, we record the current state along the ZNU fields of action, identify existing structures, processes, and data, and recognize what is missing for a possible certification.
Result: Overview of external requirements and clear identification of gaps. Concrete action plan to address these gaps.
Typical duration: Depending on the number and type of requirements, usually several iterations over the course of 2–3 weeks.
3. Measures & Documentation
3. Measures & Documentation
Following the gap analysis, we close relevant gaps in a pragmatic and implementation-oriented manner. This includes, for example, the creation or further development of policies, procedural descriptions, ESG metrics, responsibility structures, evidence, action plans, or response templates for customer and banking requirements. The goal is a resilient documentation that is technically comprehensible and fits your corporate reality.

Typical duration: Depends on the quality of the existing documents; usually over a period of 2–3 weeks.
4. Preparation & Further Development
4. Preparation & Further Development
We support you in the structured preparation of the required information – for example, for customer meetings, tenders, supplier portals, ESG questionnaires, bank inquiries, or assessment platforms such as EcoVadis. In addition, we help you to classify feedback, assessment results, or new requirements and to derive concrete improvement measures from them. In this way, you gradually develop your sustainability documentation further and create a solid foundation for future requirements.
Result: Results presented according to your needs, for example, in the form of a sustainability report or a presentation for management, the supervisory board, or external stakeholders.
Typical duration: Depending on the type of presentation.
