After studying economics at EBS University for Business and Law (Oestrich-Winkel) and Cass Business School (London), Matthias began his career in private equity. Over 14 years, Matthias worked at Ardian, one of the leading European private equity firms, most recently as a Director in the Buyout Team. There, he was responsible for investments and transactions focused on the D-A-CH region and international growth strategies across the entire value chain. With his experience and passion for investing in entrepreneurship, business development and financing, as well as trustworthy collaboration with investors, Matthias brings valuable expertise and entrepreneurial thinking to the management of the evolutiq group. Matthias is married and has three children. In his free time, he is interested in value investing, plays the drums, enjoys reading passionately, and stays active with football, tennis, and fitness.
