Evolutiq and Nrep Logicenters have fully rented the spaces in Hanau to the timber wholesaler BECHER.

Düsseldorf/ Cologne, February 18, 2024 – evolutiq GmbH & Nreps Logicenters announce the successful full leasing of state-of-the-art production, logistics, and office spaces in Hanau to the timber wholesaler BECHER GmbH & Co. KG, focusing on interior construction and accessories.

The joint venture between Logicenters, the logistics development and management platform of Nrep, and a German family office will develop the multifunctional property by Q2/2026, which places high demands on efficiency and the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. The Cologne-based investment and asset management company evolutiq GmbH is accompanying the realization of the project and contributing its expertise as a project developer.

“We are very pleased to move to a future-oriented location with our timber wholesaler, which excites our customers with a high-quality and representative showroom,” says Michael Köngeter, Managing Director of BECHER GmbH & Co. KG. “This location offers business and private customers the opportunity to experience our diverse product world up close. With increased storage capacity and a powerful logistics network, we can serve our craft customers even more efficiently across the entire region while creating an inspiring shopping experience.”

The property, located at Donaustraße 15 in the established industrial area of Hanau-Nord, offers excellent transport connections. The nearby highways A66 and A45 provide easy access to the metropolitan region of Frankfurt and the entire Rhine-Main area – a logistically ideal location.

“On a personal note, I welcome the traditional company Becher to our city on behalf of the city of Hanau. Once again, this new establishment proves that we are creating the conditions necessary for future viability as an innovative, growing, and robust economic location. Accessibility, customer proximity, and a tailored, attractive new building are the building blocks for Becher in Hanau as well. Reliable coordination between developer evolutiq from Cologne, our building supervision, the Office for Environment, Nature, and Climate Protection, and our economic development HWG are the foundation, and we are collectively looking forward to the opening next year,” said Hanau's Mayor Claus Kaminsky.

The rentable area of the multifunctional commercial property is approx. 12,300 m² and has been leased long-term to BECHER GmbH & Co. KG. The conclusion of the lease was facilitated by Damir Milanovic, Managing Director of Immolox GmbH.
