Establish and Improve Ratings (e.g., Ecovadis, Esg Ratings)
For many medium-sized companies, ratings serve as key evidence for customers, business partners, and in response to requests for proposals. Four areas are typically evaluated: the environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. EmpCo – Making Credibility in Sustainability Claims
Starting in September 2026, the EmpCo Directive (EU 2024/825) will regulate across Europe how companies may continue to advertise using environmental and social claims such as “sustainable,” “climate-neutral,” or “employee-friendly.” We serve as your sounding board, review your sustainability communications, highlight risks in your existing communications, and support you in communicating transparently and credibly. Reporting (according to CSRD / VS)
With the Omnibus Reform, the CSRD reporting obligation will in future apply primarily to large companies. Medium-sized companies are often no longer directly affected, but are challenged through their supply chain by large customers – this is where the voluntary standard (in future, Voluntary Standard, VS, previously VSME) comes into play.
