Dr. Julian Frede

After studying economics at the University of Trier, Julian was drawn to development cooperation. After project consulting in Kenya, Madagascar, Mozambique, Benin and Senegal, he returned to the University, where he earned his PhD in economics and subsequently worked at the KfW subsidiary Deutsche Investitions- und Entwicklungsgesellschaft (DEG) for 8 years, where he expanded his expertise in the areas of strategy, impact measurement and impact management.

At evolutiq, Julian is responsible for impact advisory efforts. He helps other companies operate more sustainably and empower them to invest in solutions for the most pressing challenges of our time.

Julian enjoys spending time with his wife and three kids, traveling, hiking, and making plans with his extended family and friends. In his private life, he is also committed to the topics of sustainability, impact investing and politics.
